We can honestly say 95% of people do not find it painful and many clients have even fallen asleep. We use numbing creams to make the procedure as comfortable as possible, a lot of people say tweezing hurts a lot more.
This can be different from person to person; there are so many factors which affect the results. Peoples skin type, what medications they take, diet, sun beds, sun exposure, swimming in chlorinated water, colour of pigment chosen, products used on the face, how much exercise the person takes part in etc. They can stay visible in the skin between 1 - 5 years gradually fading more and more over time.
There are very few people who are unable to have semi permanent makeup, a full in depth consultation form is completed prior to treatment outlining the restrictions. If you suffer from any medical ailment please feel free to contact us to confirm your suitability.
If your skin is sensitive in general or on the day of the treatment, you may have a bit of redness around your brows after the treatment. This should settle within a few hours to a few days. You are most likely going to be better suited to machine work rather than microblading.
The initial healing period where extra care is needed around the brow area is 7 - 14 days. After this time, customers can resume their normal daily activities (face washing, exercising, wearing full make up etc). Your eyebrows will heal faster if you are good at following the aftercare guidance. The full healing time to see the finished results (before your top up) is 4 - 6 weeks.
Yes, you can wear make up to your appointment, however I will have to remove anything on / around the brow area whilst doing the tattooing. After the service is over, you may reapply makeup around your brows but NOT on top of or touching the treated area. You risk infection by doing this. Please keep this in mind if you're planning on having your treatment before an important event, day out, night out etc.
The benefits are endless. As we mature most of us will start to lose hair in specific areas for example the Eyebrow area. By implanting pigment in to skin to mimic natural Hairstokes this can give the illusion of a full brow without others actually being aware that you have actually had SPMU
